Music is the Sound of Emotions, and in the International Yog Festival 2014, Emotions flowed like our Great River Ganga, Swift and Peaceful.
The International Yog Festival had invited many Talented Musicians and Artists, one of them being, "Prem Joshua and Band".
Prem Joshua, may be Described as a Musical Soul.
He hails from Germany, and is a Multi-Instrumentalist and Composer, and is a Gigantic Name in the Field of World Fusion Music.
He has Explored and Experimented with Various Genres of Music, like Indian Classical, Jazz, Funk, Ethno, Trance, Reggae, Psychedelic, etc and has Collaborated with many Artists and Producers.
He started his Musical Journey from Germany, and Travelled all the Continents, till his Finality reached Indian Borders, and Classical Music.
Prem Joshua plays the Sitar, Flute, Soprano Saxophone, etc.
Their Concert was in the Ganga Resort (G.M.V.N), as a Part of the International Yog Festival 2014, on 6th March,
The Audience couldn't have enough of them, and they had to extend their Concert of 2 Hours to 4 Hours Approximately.
Joshua was a Musical Disciple of Ustad Usman Khan and Osho, both of who were Great Sitar Players.
Joshua's Biggest Inspiration was Osho.
He said,"In the Presence of this Man with the Long White Beard, Eyes as Deep as the Ocean and a Strong Sense of Humour, he came in touch with the art of the Inner Music-Silence. This was really coming Home".
To Date, Joshua has released 14 Albums under his name.
The Band Lineup is as follows :-
The Band Tours for 10 Months in an Year, and Improvises in the Studio for 2 Months.
His Parents gave him the name Joshua, and he added "Prem" to it, dropping the Family Name, to remind him of the Essence of "Love".
(Prem Literally means Love in Hindi)
