Prince of Wales & Duchess of Cornwall in Rishikesh

Hello Everyone,

Prince Charles (The Prince of Wales) & Camilla Parker Bowles (The Duchess of Cornwall), visited India for a 9 day tour, and started their journey from Rishikesh.

They landed at the Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, and reached Rishikesh via Road. Heavy Security arrangements had been conducted by the Uttarakhand Ministry and Police.

They were greeted by Swami Chidananda Saraswati, founder of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram situated in Ram Jhula.
They attended a Special Aarti, held at the Parmarth Niketan Ghat.
A Special Hawan was conducted for "World Peace", and they held Yagna's for Water Restoration in the World.

Prince Charles said, "I am amazed by the experience of sitting on the bank of one of the ancient rivers of the world. It is the right time for us to rediscover our connection with nature."

He paid tributes and condolences to the deceased of the recent disaster that occurred in Uttarakhand.
